After the successful cycle race in August, quattro media was chosen to create a new concept in combining a “virtual Ötztaler Radmarathon” with a remote live broadcast production for 2021. The concept was discussed with various service providers for virtual races and finally agreed with virtual cycling specialist ROUVY headquartered in Czech Republic.
Quattro media has filmed the original route over 4 passes in Austria, Switzerland and Italy and together with ROUVY the “Ötztaler Radmarathon” is already available as a virtual sports experience, also offering challenges and races. Competitions will be provided to media partners as a mix of virtual racing, avatars, live impressions from participating cyclists on their indoor cycling machines, full data-handling via Rouvy and commentators and experts in a virtual studio, produced fully remotely.
