The Laax Open is today’s top-notch Snowboard Halfpipe and Slopestyle competition and a regular FIS World Cup in Laax, Switzerland. quattro media has worked on this event since its beginning, when it was known as “Burton European Open”, one of the leading six-star events on the TTR Snowboard World Tour.
The Challenge
The event management sought consultation during the transition to become a FIS Snowboard World Cup.
quattro media has been assigned to advise in regards to global media rights and possible distribution synergies.

quattro media has been consulting Laax and its organizing committee during two years in regards to all audio-visual media relevant aspects.
We provided assistance during relevant meetings with FIS and rights holder EBU (European Broadcasting Union).
We developed a new distribution concept for the entire global media eco-system aligning with the rights management of FIS to maximize media output and content distribution.
