CASE STUDY
The Client
The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI) is a non-governmental and non-profit making international organization with the basic aim of furthering aeronautical and astronautical activities worldwide, ratifying world and continental records and coordinating the organization of international air sports competitions (World Cups, European and World Championships). It is recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
At this point, the portfolio of FAI includes 13 different air sports.
The Challenge
FAI contacted us to assist and consult them in terms of medialization, strategy and global media recognition.
We are assigned to generate global media output and production of video content for the World Air Games.
We analyze FAI's sports events in relation to media products, media awareness, production concepts and build efficient cooperations between FAI and its national organizers and federations.
Our Solutions
We led the live and live delayed video production & global media distribution of the World Air Games in Dubai in 2015 and generated 21.758 transmissions of different media products.
We have developed production concepts, camera positions and video content for each type of FAI air sport and competition.
We are consulting local organizers regarding media contracts.
We run the media production and distribution of Gordon Bennet Cup, Paragliding World Championships, Sail Plane Grand Prix, Gilder Aerobatics, Motor Aerobatics and Drone World Championships.
In 2017, quattro media was given the mandate to generate an extended media reach for the FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championship which took place in Canada. The suitable content strategy and pro-active distribution approach led to an immediate significant media impact. The success story was continued in 2018 with the event in Bahrain and will continue in Lille, France in 2019.
